Shingo Katori (香取 慎吾) is a former member of the Japanese pop group SMAP. He is also an actor and a TV show host. Katori provides the voice of Riiya in the anime Akazukin Chacha.

- Like Riiya, he is known as a big eater.
- Another trait he shares with Riiya is a love for mayonnaise (shown in Episode 38). He often drinks it directly from the bottle, and has even eaten grass and leaves with the condiment. This earned him a role in a number of commercials for Ajinomoto mayonnaise.
- Prior to the Akazukin Chacha anime, he played a werewolf in the SMAP film Kokoro no Kagami (心の鏡).
- On top of his voice acting roles in animated films and shows, he provided the voice of Spider-Man in "The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man: The Ride" at Universal Studios Japan.
- Shingo's image color in SMAP is green.
